Dahlia Growing Workshops
Dahlia workshops are over for 2026 and will return in Winter of 2027.
Spend a morning with us learning all about growing dahlias!
Tour our dahlia patch, see how we grow and care for our plants, and watch demonstrations on digging, dividing, and storing tubers.
Suitable for complete beginners through to new growers who have fallen in love with dahlias and want to learn more.
Spaces will be limited to 10.
Our workshops will cover a range of topics including:
- bed preparation
- staking
- mulching
- planting
- record keeping
- feeding and watering
- pests and diseases
- seed collection
- digging and dividing
- storage of tubers
A demonstration of tuber dividing is also included and we show you how we store our tubers. We are also more than happy to answer any questions on the day.
All attendees will receive a comprehensive booklet to take home covering all of the topics discussed.
A complimentary morning tea will be provided for all of our guests.
We expect the workshop to run for the full 3 hours. There's alot to cover!

Whether you're a complete newbie or dreaming of becoming a dahlia queen like me (lol), this workshop is perfect.
One of the highlights was walking through their stunning garden—it was such a treat to see their blooms up close!
They also provided a lovely morning tea with delicious
home-baked goodies (seriously impressive!), which made the experience even more

- Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours, including images of any tubers you are concerned about.

- We are offering combined postage this year. Please pay for postage for each order and we will manually refund any postage paid for additional orders.
- Shipping for 1-4 tubers is $20
- Shipping for 5-12 tubers is $30
- Shipping for 13-24 tubers is $40
- Larger orders will need to be calculated.
